Call for Papers
It is with great joy that we invite the academic and business communities to submit articles to CISI 2020 - 3rd International Conference on Sustainability and Innovation - which will take place on the 24th - 27th of November,
Synchronous online session from the University of Aveiro
Documents types of articles may be submitted:
Full papers: Completed or consolidated papers on one of the conference topics. These articles will have a maximum limit of 6000 words.
Short papers: Work in progress, but with relevant preliminary results to be discussed. These articles will have a maximum limit of 3000 words.
Poster paper (poster paper): Initial works, but with relevant ideas to be discussed. These articles will have a maximum limit of 1500 words.
The text of the article for evaluation by the Scientific Committee should not include information that allows the identification of the authors. Thus, the authors' names, affiliations, and bibliographic references should not appear in the initial version. This information should be included only in the final version of the article.
The submitted articles must not be published or under review for any other national or international conference or publication.
Articles must follow the formatting rules and be written in Portuguese, Spanish, or English and abstracts must also be presented in English.
All articles will be subject to "blind review" by at least two members of the Scientific Committee.
Some of the articles (full papers) may be accepted only as short articles (short papers) or poster articles (poster paper). Likewise, some short papers may be accepted only as poster papers. In these two cases, short articles and poster articles may keep the number of initial pages with which they were submitted for publication in the minutes' book.
Authors of accepted articles will have, in a conference session, 12 minutes for their presentation, plus 4 minutes for their discussion.
The authors of accepted short papers will have 10 minutes for their presentation in the conference work session, plus 4 minutes for their discussion.
Authors of articles accepted as poster articles must also prepare and print a poster for an exhibition at the conference. The poster must have vertical orientation and size A1 or A2. The conference has working sessions for presentation and oral discussion of the posters, next to them, with 5 minutes for each poster.
